Expat. Roasters, Indonesia’s specialty coffee brand, has announced the opening of its fifth store located in the Lobby Drop Zone, Terminal 1A Departure of Juanda International Airport Surabaya, East Java. The new store marks a significant milestone in Expat. Roasters’ nationwide expansion.
The 93 m² coffee sanctuary at Juanda International Airport is designed to cater to travelers, offering premium coffee starting from 5 AM daily. This latest addition follows the successful openings of Expat. Roasters’ third and fourth stores in Graha Family, West Surabaya, and Jakarta Mori Building, Sudirman, Central Jakarta, respectively. These complement the brand’s two existing outlets in Bali (Petitenget & Beachwalk Shopping Mall).

Expat. Roasters is renowned for its high-quality coffee blends, using only Arabica coffee beans, with over 95% sourced from Indonesia. The brand’s expansion plans include opening six new outlets this year, with two stores set to open in East Surabaya and Hokky Surabaya Supermarket soon. In August, Expat. Roasters will launch a store at Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport’s departure terminal, followed by openings in Medan and Makassar towards the end of the year.
The Juanda International Airport store will also offer Expat. Roasters’ newly launched cold brew cans and an array of snacks for travellers to enjoy before embarking on their journey.
Expat. Roasters Juanda International Airport is located at the Lobby Drop Zone, Terminal 1A Departure Hall and operates from 5 AM to 9 PM, Monday to Sunday.
