In January, the Swiss-based automatic coffee machine company, Jura, held a groundbreaking ceremony to kick off construction of the state-of-the-art Jura Hospitality and Service Center in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, which will serve the United States.

Attendees included Commonwealth of Pennsylvania officials Senator Ryan Aument and State Representative Mindy Fee, along with Niculin Jäger, Ambassador, Consul General of Switzerland in New York.

Tom McMahon, president of Jura Inc., spoke about the brand’s commitment to premium quality, sustainability, and outstanding customer service. The new center will provide a white glove customer service experience, with quick and efficient servicing of the machines. It will also have the US’s first “drive-in” 24/7 station, allowing local customers to drop off and pick up machines at their convenience using a highly advanced kiosk system.

CEO of Jura Switzerland, Emanuel Probst, called the new Hospitality and Service Center a milestone in the company’s history, which will be instrumental in the future growth and success of Jura in the US market. Jura is active in 50 countries, with the US its second largest market. He noted that 25 years ago, Jura shipped its first 312 machines to the US, and this has grown to over 600,000 machines today. He recognised Jura’s long-standing service partner, Bates Enterprises, for its commitment to the brand’s high service, longevity, and sustainability standards.

Manheim-based Bates Enterprises will continue to manage day-to-day operations of the Jura Hospitality and Service Center. Jeff Bates, owner and operator of Bates Enterprises, said that it was an honor to work with Jura, with its strong commitment to premium service and product quality. He also thanked his team for their dedication and commitment to upholding JURA’s unsurpassed standards.

Scheduled to open in 2025, the JURA Hospitality and Service Center will be located at 1475 East Main Street, Mt. Joy, PA 17545, Rapho Township, Lancaster County. The building partners on the project are Wohlsen, Core Design Group, Green Building Engineers and David Miller & Associates.

The Jura US headquarters is based in Montvale, NJ. For more information, visit jura.com.
