Seasonal coffee offerings return to US chains
As the colder months approach, US coffee chains are unveiling their seasonal ranges, including coffee, hot chocolate and other beverages.
Starbucks
- Returning drink include Peppermint Mocha, Toasted White Chocolate Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte and Eggnog Latte
- In beans/ground, the Christmas Blend returns, along with a Decaf Christmas Blend, Christmas Blend Espresso Roast, Holiday Blend, Christmas Blend Blonde Roast and a Reserve Christmas 2019
- Playful paper cups designed like wrapping paper
- A new limited edition reusable cup for 2019, and customers who bring back their 2019 reusable red cup to a participating Starbucks store in the United States or Canada after 2 p.m. through Jan. 6 will get 50 cents off a grande (16-ounce) holiday beverage.
Peet’s Coffee
- New Citrus and Spice Latte – infused with real baking spices, Peet’s exclusively made Fiori di Sicilia, bright citrus, sweet vanilla, and subtle orange blossom.
- Returning favorites of Dark Chocolate Orange Mocha, Holiday Spice Latte, and Peppermint Mocha.
- Annual Holiday Blend – a one-of-a-kind coffee that brings together beans from Kenya, Sumatra, and Panama.
Dunkin’
- The Peppermint Mocha returns, along with four new beverages
- Holiday Eggnog Signature Latte – eggnog and cinnamon topped with whipped cream, caramel drizzle, and cinnamon sugar.
- Merry Mocha Mint Signature Latte – Peppermint Mocha flavor topped with whipped cream, mocha drizzle, and hot chocolate powder.
- Toasted Gingerbread Signature Latte – with gingerbread, marshmallow, and chocolate flavours all topped with whipped cream, caramel drizzle, and cinnamon sugar.
- Frosted White Chocolate Signature Latte – white chocolate flavour topped with whipped cream, caramel drizzle, and cinnamon sugar.
- Two new holiday coffee flavours: Gingerbread S’mores and Winter White Chocolate, both of which you can get in a hot and iced coffee, cold brew, espresso drink, frozen coffee, and frozen chocolate.
- All of these drinks will be served in Dunkin’s new bright-pink holiday cups with phrases on them like celebratin’, sleighin’, wrappin’, and dashin’.
Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf
- Matcha Berry – matcha and espresso blended with fruity flavours
- Double Chocolate Berry – rich dark chocolate notes mingling with espresso and berry syrup
- White Chocolate Berry – for a milder taste
- Chocolate Pecan – espresso, chocolate, and nutty flavours are complemented by caramel.
- All drinks come in ice blended, hot, and iced latte versions.
Stash Tea
- White Christmas tea – a blend of delicate white tea, Pacific Northwest peppermint and ginger. Available exclusively online for $3.95 for a box of 18 tea bags

Caribou Coffee
- Spicy Mocha – Real chocolate melted into steamed milk and combined with rich espresso and flavours of chipotle and ancho chillies. Topped with whipped cream and chocolate chips.
- Nitro Spicy Mocha – Nitro Cold Press combined with milk, chocolate and flavours of ancho chillies; topped with espresso whipped cream.
- Ho Ho Mint Mocha – Real chocolate melted into steamed milk and combined with rich espresso and mint flavour. Topped with whipped cream and candy canes
- Nitro Ho Ho Mint Mocha – Nitro Cold Press combined with milk, chocolate and mint flavour; topped with espresso whipped cream.
- Fa La Latte – Espresso and steamed eggnog topped with whipped cream and a sprinkle of nutmeg.
